LMAO -- i love anime, but i do not wish i was Japanese, thats for goddamn sure. and there was ONE thread questioning the age of a character of one show. That's hardly a deluge. Believe me, there is a TON of anime/manga stuff that I could post about and dont.
Also, a TON of Japanese are producing figures based on anime. There is a ton of anime out there, and the people who make them are puttin out figs, minifigs, statues, etc like mad. When the source material has so MANY characters to work with, it's easy to make figures. And with anime becoming more and more popular over here, you're bound to hear more about it.
But believe me, I really try to keep my anime topics focused on anime TOYS. Every now and then, I will post something ONLY if I know someone else here is familiar with the subject.

And like you all said, there simply isnt a ton of stuff out right now. The Spidey Movie and Video Game and majority of the movie based figures have hit. No more anticipation for any of this anymore. So when we get something new to talk about, we will.
The traffic WAS much more lively over on RFB, but only because we were all there. When a group like that splits, so does the conversation. This board, as slow as it is, is definitely not faster than RFB is now. That place has slowed to a crawl too.
But thats just the way it is. People just arent talkin. Maybe it will pick up, maybe it wont. We'll just have to wait and see.
